Jaron Hartshorn, a junior at Lone Peak High in Utah, took third in the boys 2-mile race in 8:52.85 at the Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle. Hartshorn was edged for second place by Michael Maiorano of South Medford High in Oregon by an 8:52.845 to 8:52.847 margin.
