King's High WA junior Naomi Smith won the local girls mile in 4:55.59 at the Brooks PR Invitational at University of Washington's Husky Outdoor Track in Seattle, Wash. Smith had run a personal-best 4:53.76 in the 1,600 meters during the regular season, which converts to 4:55.49 for the full mile.
