Summit's Matthew Maton wins mile run at Brooks PR invitational, Grant's Ella Donaghu 8th in 2-mile run

Summit's Matthew Maton and Grant's Ella Donaghu competed in the Brooks PR Invitational Saturday facing off against the top high school runners in the nation at Renton Memorial Staidum in Seattle, Wash.

Maton won the Boys Mile Run with a time of 4:06.32 besting a field of the nation's top high school distance runners. The victory adds to his impressive recent streak for Maton which includes state track and field titles at 1,500 and 3,000 meters in May and a second place finish at adidas Dream Mile in New York earlier in June.
